Are you researching ancestors in Gloucestershire? 

Join us at the SoG Library in London to watch a recorded presentation on 'Researching in Gloucestershire' and a tour of our Wharf Road Library focusing on our resources for the county of Gloucestershire.

2pm Watch a recording of the talk Researching in Gloucestershire

• Else Churchill from Society of Genealogists will talk about resources held by the Society covering Gloucestershire
• Mia Bennett, chair of GFHS will showcase the resources at the Family History Centre  and to members of Gloucestershire Family History Society
• John Putney, Community Heritage Officer, will be focusing on the 'Treasures of Gloucestershire Archives

We will also learn how A Vision of Britain Through Time  and Victoria County History can help you to research in Gloucestershire.

This talk is a recording of the event which will take place on 16 September and you can book the live presentation here. If you do not wish to watch the recorded presentation, then please arrive at the library 3.45pm for the tour only. 

4pm Take a tour of the SoG Library with our librarian, Christine Worthington, who will explain what resources we hold for researching family history in Gloucestershire. 

Christine will be on hand to answer questions and there will be an opportunity to network with others researching families in the same area.
