A Virtual Tour of the National Funeral Museum with Andrea Woodside

Join Andrea Woodside, Collections Curator at the National Funeral Museum, for a virtual journey through this fascinating collection. From mourning customs and funeral traditions to the objects people used to remember their dead, the museum offers a unique window into how generations before us experienced death, grief and remembrance. Andrea will explore some of the collection’s highlights and consider why funeral history matters - revealing much about changing beliefs, communities, social customs and the everyday lives of our ancestors.
