We’ll be joined in our virtual common room by Andrea Woodside, archivist at the National Funeral Museum, to explore all aspects of our ancestors’ funerals.  How have funerals changed over time in their look and feel? Which traditions were once popular but have now fallen out of fashion? And when did cremation become an accepted alternative to burial?  This will be a fascinating discussion on how attitudes, customs and practices surrounding death and funerals have evolved over the years.
