Are you researching ancestors in Gwent? 

Join us at the SoG Library in London to watch a recorded presentation of 'Researching in Gwent' and a tour of our Wharf Road Library focusing on our resources for the county of Gwent.  

The presentations in the talk will cover the historic area of Gwent including the counties of Torfaen, Newport, Monmouthshire, Blaenau Gwent and parts of Caerphilly.

If you do not wish to watch the recorded presentation, then please arrive at the library 1.45pm for the tour only. 

2:00pm Take a tour of the SoG Library with our librarian, Christine Worthington, who will explain what resources we hold for researching family history in Gwent.  There will also be an exhibition of our collections for Gwent for you to browse. 

Christine will be on hand to answer questions and there will be an opportunity to network with others researching families in the same area.

Spend an afternoon focusing on your Gwent roots!
