Unexpected DNA results often reveal relationships that don’t match the paper trail. In this session, we’ll explore how "half relationships" appear in DNA results, what they can (and can’t) tell us, and how to interpret them carefully and responsibly. Using real-world scenarios, we’ll look at how DNA can uncover evidence of divorce, remarriage, and hidden relationships - and how to approach these findings with both analytical rigour and sensitivity.
