The Society of Genealogists is proud to be holding our 115th Annual General Meeting of our members and associate members, on Tuesday 29th July. The meeting will reflect on 2025, elect our new Trustees and recognise the invaluable contribution of our volunteers. 

The meeting can be attended online or in-person but attendees are asked to register in advance. 

For those wishing to attend in person, the AGM will be held at our premises at 40 Wharf Road, London, N1 7GS. 

Booking closes on 28 July.

This year, voting will take place both in person and online. Remote attendees do not need to complete a proxy voting form, as they will be able to vote directly via Zoom during the meeting.

If you are unable to attend — either in person or online — and wish to vote, please complete the proxy voting form and return it by 1pm on 28 July 2026.

All AGM documents, including the proxy voting form, will be added to this page as they become available, and you will be notified by email nearer the time. 

The Zoom invitation to the meeting will be emailed the day before. 

Following the AGM there will be a drinks reception in Wharf Road and an online social
