Lunchtime Chat: Choosing Family History Software

SoG Fellow John Hanson is waiting to welcome you to our virtual common room to discuss choosing family history software. A keen user of Family Historian, and tutor for our July course, John will start the conversation, but there will be plenty of opportunity to share experiences of other programmes such as Legacy Family Tree, Family Tree Maker, Reunion and RootsMagic.

  • Which do you use, and what would you recommend to others?
  • What do you like about it?
  • What do you dislike about it or what is it lacking?
  • Do you use an online tree instead of standalone software?

Grab a sandwich or a cuppa and join us - our lunchtime chats are friendly, informal and full of shared experience.
