As a professional genealogist, maintaining a record of your CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is good practice. It may be a requirement of an accredited body and is also an excellent way to demonstrate your professionalism to clients and working partnerships.
Join this practical workshop to develop your own CPD log using a format tailored specifically to genealogy. Following an explanation of what is required in a CPD log, there will be guided mini-sessions/breakout discussions where you will identify your learning opportunities to create a retrospective log and begin a plan for future development An important element of effective CPD is reflective practice. By reflecting on real situations in your work, you can recognise what is working well, identify areas for growth, and use these insights to shape a meaningful development plan.
Whether you are starting your genealogy CPD from scratch, need the motivation to complete your log, or are looking for fresh ideas to enhance your professional developing, this workshop will be fun and allow you to leave with your own CPD log ready to enjoy your future development.
