Our visit will focus on 'Early Modern Poor Law Records'. 

Following a behind the scenes tour looking at our state of the art conservation studio and large strongrooms, there will then be time to get hands on with Overseer of the Poor records, Churchwarden Account Books, Settlement certificates and Workhouse records, all from the 16th to the 18th centuries in London parishes.

Attendees will be welcome to take photographs during the visit, and there will be time to chat and ask TLA questions during the document viewing.
