Treasure in the English Tithe Records
Tithe records provide insights into land and property ownership, occupancy, and usage. They record all levels of society from wealthy landowners to tenant farmers, and cover the majority of England and Wales. This talk will demonstrate how these records can help pinpoint exactly where your family were living in the 1840s.
