How did military nursing move with the times?
An insight into the history of Army Nursing from the 17th century and before, via the history of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (QARANC; known as the QAs) from 1902, to the creation of the Royal Army Medical Service (RAMS) in Nov 2024.
Graham served as a QA himself from 1999 until 2015.

About the Speaker
Graham Bandy
Graham Bandy has spent most of his life either in the army or in nursing. He runs Living Military History and specialises in military history research and the identification of military photographs, uniforms, and cap badges. Graham has been an onscreen researcher/presenter for WDYTYA, and currently writes monthly for Family Tree Magazine. He has published two books on genealogical military history, and appears at Family Tree Live and WDYTYA Live as the photographic and military expert. Graham attends nationwide Family History Fairs where he identifies and dates military photographs and signposts attendees to records and further information. He also talks and writes on a wide range of social topics around his family tree areas in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. Graham is a member of several Family History Societies, the Military History Society and the Society for Army Historical Research.
