About the Speaker

Paul Watling

A qualified accountant with extensive experience in researching and analysing management information. With over 30 years of experience in family history and genealogy, he has researched and archived family histories, using records at The National Archives, The British Library, and the National Maritime Museum. He has also explored how DNA testing can enhance understanding of family migrations. He is studing for the Higher Certificate in Genealogy and Family History with The Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies.

He is an associate of the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives and a member of The Suffolk Family History Society.
