Not only is Family Historian one of the best programs on the market but there are also lots of things to configure to get the best from it. This lecture is the next in the Society of Genealogists' series of lectures on the Calico Pie Family Historian software package.
In this module we will be covering all the basic options and preferences, what they really mean and what you maybe need to change. We will also look at queries and how they can be used to configure the records window and not just for individuals. There are lots of existing queries and writing your own, or modifying an existing one, is simpler than you think, once you understand the principles.
Plus, we look at how you can amend the property box to include more pages and how to then customise those pages. Whilst this may look and sound daunting it isn't really and remember that these are simply ways of looking at the data that you have entered differently.
This tutorial only covers the Family Historian software package from Calico Pie. It does not cover any other software packages. This tutorial includes an extensive Q&A session, so do bring your questions along. Please note the Q&A session on this event will be recorded and available as below. You can ask a verbal question or use the chat facility if you wish.
