About the Speaker
Lucy Reynoldson
Born and bred in Durham County, Lucy Reynoldson comes from a rich British heritage that influenced her passion for genealogy at a young age. As a teenager, she became the go-to expert for her family and friends, guiding them on their family history journeys. Utilising living memory interviews, historical records and DNA analysis, Lucy has traced her family lines over 10 generations. For 20 years, Lucy has shared her expertise and enthusiasm as a volunteer for FamilySearch, helping countless individuals build their family trees and uncover their ancestors. Now, as a full-time UK Ambassador for FamilySearch, she has captivated audiences on radio shows and at national genealogy conferences, inspiring many to discover their roots.
